TitleVest Agency Inc., a title insurance company, is making offering plans for condos and co-ops in New York City more accessible by digitizing them and putting them online for free. Offering plans are usually hundreds of pages, but by placing them online, they can be easily searched through by using keywords.
TitleVest is not only making things easier for owners or prospective buyers, but is also helping to free up a lot of storage space for lawyers, managing agents, and real estate brokers who have had to make room for a multitude of bulky plans. The company charges $150 for a hard copy of an offering plan, saving apartment sellers the previous burden of $180-$300 from distributing it themselves.
